William for Model Number ED2FHAXSQ00 How can I electrically troubleshoot whether the micro switch or the dispenser motor for my icemaker is bad? Icemaker works perfectly, but will not dispense ice, nor does the dispenser motor come on. Thanks for your help!
Answer Hello William. You can access the dispenser motor WP2212363 and test for power coming to the motor when the switch is pressed. You will need to tape the door light switch closed to test the motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
