Doug for Model Number ED5SHAXMT00 MFG Date10/03 Serial#SP4244611 My water dispenser stopped working when you push the lever in but the ice dispenser, light and everything else works fine.Could it be the Micro switch and if so where is it located and how does the front cover come off to get to it? It is a side by side model.
Answer Hello Doug. Test for power coming to the water valve when the dispenser lever is pressed. If there is power there and no water comes out, you will need to replace the water valve W10408179 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
