Roger, You will want to test the temp control switch on the unit. You can do a continuity test and check for air fluff from red to any of the other terminals and there should be no continuity. If there is then the issue will be the temp sensor. The other settings to check is on Delicate, from blue to red and purple to white and there should be continuity. The same test for delicate will be used on medium with the exception you will go to the white with resistor. For regular then blue to Red. If these check ok then the issue would likely be the cycling thermostat.
