C P Lee for Model Number 6651396582 The gear assembly had broken teeth and had quit working. I replaced both gears on the bottom. The compactor would then go to the bottom and the motor would keep pushing down until it finally came back up. This kept up for a few cycles and then finally it stripped the small cog.
