Ken for Model Number Kenmore 13619101 My compactor will not reverse unless I cut it off and back on. It makes a grinding noise when it reaches the bottom of the compacting cycle.
Answer Hi Ken. It sounds like the debris may have gotten down into the ram assy. You need to get a shop vac. and clean the entire unit.
