Steve for Model Number LSQ9010PW6 I just tried to replace the old malfunctioning lid switch on a 20+ year old Whirlpool washer with new P/N# WPLWP8318084, but was unable to get the hiring harness to seat into the new lid switch far enough to allow the notched locking clip to advance over the protruding nub to lock it into place. Is this the wrong part? If the correct part, why won't the wiring harness slide in deeply enough that it will simply click into place?
