Jim F. for Model Number lsq9010pg3 The agitator would come on as the water was filling the tub and it would only fill half way. I replaced the timer #8557301. That did not fix the problem. I replaced the pressure switch #W10339326. The machine worked well for one load. The next load, it filled with water as normal and then stopped. It will not agitate or spin. At most positions on the dial, it either does nothing or adds more water to the tub. What should I try next?
Answer Jim, Try these checks next, Check and make sure the lid switch WP8318084 and wiring are OK, check the lid and hinges, make sure the hinges aren't loose or the lid is "moving" and breaking contact with the lid switch. Remove the timer wire harness block from the timer and check the timer terminals for being bent or loose, check the terminals inside the harness block, make sure they are in and "locked" inside the block. If all's OK, the issue should be in the water temperature switch WP8564140, the circuit board can disrupt the water valve operation and cause erratic fill cycles and operation. Read More...
