Manufacturer Part Number: W10339326

The Water Level Switch Kit is an OEM part for Whirlpool washing machines. This part detects the water level in the washer tub and communicating with the control board to regulate the water intake. The switch ensures that the washer fills to the appropriate level for each wash cycle, optimizing water usage and washing performance.

Causes of a bad water level switch can include electrical failures, wear and tear from prolonged use, or obstructions in the pressure tube that connects to the switch.

Symptoms of a bad water level switch include:

  • Washing machine not filling with enough water
  • Overfilling or water spilling out of the tub
  • Washer not advancing through cycles
  • Error codes indicating water level issues

This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper and some Kenmore models.

J.R.Truoble for Model Number 110.26912690

I have the 90 series and at the agitator base, it has 4 spring loaded plastic cover bolts that protrude 1/8 inch outward.IS it the fiber plate, the basket doesn't release so I can remove it, the spanner nut and block.are not frozen .i want to replace the seal, and the center post bearing .Also the fill level is lower when filling about half way in the drum. Do I need a switch water level or valve water mixing, the water valve screens are free of debris . I get 38 -42 lbs of water pressure from supply lines.

Answer

Jr Truoble, You will want to check to make sure that that screens are not clogged on the water valve. If they are ok then check for air dome that is clogged or a water level switch. The plastic pieces would be the lint filter. The basket would need to be rocked back and forth to try to break it free.
