Miles B for Model Number Whirlpool top washer Model WTW5300SQ0 Hello , My washer recently overflowed twice, then it wouldn't spin, unplugged it, took it apart to check the pressure switch and hose, both seemed in working order, blow in the hose and no leaks, pressure switch clicked off and on, now here is the mystery, Washer fills at all levels and then water stops, spin cycle now working, wash cycle runs and shuts off at proper level low med and high, close lid washer runs then starts to over fill when lid is closed, lift lid and i can see water draining down, close lid stars to over fill again while washing, I have checked the inlet valves and they are shutting off, the hose for water lever has no leaks i can find can it still be the water pressure valve even if its clicking when blowing in it.? Thanks you and Happy Holidays! Miles

If it does clear it out and should correct the issue. If it is clear then the pressure switch does sound like it is the issue. Read More...
