Debby for Model Number LSQ8543JQ0 My water Level Switch Knob stem broke off at the switch. I would like to replace the switch with WHIRLPOOL Water Level Switch (Part Number: AP4567832). Will the old switch simply unplug from the wiring harness so I can plug in the new one, or is there rewiring involved. I believe I will also have to disconnect/reconnect the sensor hose (tubing) - is that right? Don't want to pay $60 for a new switch that I can't install. Thank you.
Answer Hello Debby. You old wiring harness should unplug off the old switch and onto the new one. You will need to remove the pressure hose from the tub and install the new pressure hose to the tub and the new pressure switch W10820051. The old switch you will need to release the tab and turn it to remove it from the control panel. Then put in the new switch and turn it until it locks into place. Hope this helps. Read More...
