Hello Jerry. Yes, if the pressure switch WPW10514214 is bad, or the pressure hose is bad, it will cause the unit to overflow. If you can turn off the water by pressing stop on the machine, it is the switch or hose. If you have to turn the water off to stop the water, it is the water valve. Hope this helps.
