Kevin for Model Number eed4400w00 /PART #ap4373392 I have owened this dryer for 16 months. The timer does not shut down after dring clothes. As a self taught repair man. I took timer out and took apart the is not a whole lot to one. I have to say this is the cheapest built unit I have ever taken apart. Is there a upgraded version for this timer it seems to be the only part going out on this model dryer.
Answer Hi Kevin. The timer is part # WPW10185970. Make sure the cord at the terminal block is tight and that you use 3-more brass nuts to lock the connections after you snug them. Make sure you are getting 240 vac to each outer 2 legs at the terminal block. then make sure you are getting 120 vac from each outer leg to the center nutral terminal. Thank You. Read More...
