Wayne for Model Number estate gas dryer My Estate gas dryer will not start. I opened the back panel to see if there was a reset switch but could not find anything. There is no sound when I push the start button. Not sure what part to get not sure if it is the timer or something please if anyone could help thank you.
Answer Wayne, You will want to check your door switch and dryer thermal fuses for continuity. When you check the door switch, the door will need to be closed. If the door switch does not have continuity then the switch is bad and needs to be replaced. The thermal fuse should always have continuity. If not then it is bad and needs to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
