Ajay for Model Number geq9800pw1 Dryer not getting hot, fuse bad, replaced w/ thermo kit, cleaned out long 30 ft run, also replaced vent exit. 3 to 4 weeks fuse blown again, replaced once more. Only 3 days this time, also notice can no longer use the accu-dry settings just reg. time drying. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
Answer Ajay, You will want to double check the venting just to make sure that there is nothing clogging it. Also check the cycling thermostat to make sure that it is good. The two smaller terminals should have voltage to them when the heating element cycles off. It sounds like the cycling thermostat may be the issue especially since the accu-dry is not working.
