John for Model Number LGQ8100KQ0 My whirlpool dryer timer won't advance using the AccuDry Sensor Drying mode. On the other hand, the Timed Drying mode works just fine. There is heat when the dryer is on. What do I need to replace in order to fix it? Thank you....
Answer John, You may not need anything, first thing to do is disconnect the exhaust vent from the back of the dryer, clean as much of the debris out of the vent system in the wall, Run the dryer on an "accu dry " setting with the vent off and observe the timer to see if it advances. If it does you will need to clean the exhaust vent sytem. Thanks and Good Luck Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, September 15, 2011
