Mary for Model Number LSR5233AWO The washer will not run through a complete cycle. It might start, then stop, then maybe start again. It will not completely empty, except in the gentle cycle. In the gentle cycle, it will still stop, hesitate, but will complete the cycle. If I try to start the washer in the regular cycle, it might start, but will stop and not complete the cycle.
Answer Hello Mary. If the timer is stalling, then it sounds like you may need to replace the timer 285938 in the unit. If the timer continues, but the motor does not go, you may have an issue with the motor windings and the motor WP661600 may need to be replaced on the unit. Check and see if it is the timer stalling out, or if the motor is not working. If it is the motor, test and make sure there is power coming to it. If so, and it does not run, you will need to replace the motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
