Peter W. for Model Number LSR7233B Washer cycles properly until it hit the drain cycle then just stops and will not advance. It will do this in both regular wash cycle and the permanent press cycle. I can occasionally get it to advance by pushing in and pulling out the control knob until I am about ready to take a baseball bat to it. Timer? Lid switch? CLutch?
Answer Hello Peter. The first thing to check is the lid switch 285671 and see if it is bad or broken. If not, then it sounds like the timer 285938 is bad on the unit and will need to be replaced.
