Mike for Model Number lst7233aw0 I have been experiencing the following problem. Start the washer and it fills properly and begins to agitate (so far so good). The timer dial turns but when it reaches the rinse I hear it click but it does not switch cycles, it continues in the wash cycle. Same thing happens at the spin cycle, hear the click but continues to agitate until it reaches the off position. Then the washer stops with a full drum of water. Regardless of where I start the washer it will stay in that cycle until the timer reaches the off position and it never switches to the next cycle. Once the timer dial reaches a point that should trigger a new cycle, if I stop and restart the machine at that point the new cycle triggers but will stay in that cycle until the end. Is this a faulty timer? Thanks for any advice.
Answer Hello Mike. Yes, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the timer 285938 is bad and will need to be replaced in the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, September 19, 2012
