Hello Davy99. It depends on the issue you are having, but you can always test the timer. You will use the wiring diagram on the unit to see where the power should be depending on the part of the cycle you are in. If power is coming to the timer, but not going out when it should, you will need to replace the timer WP8299784. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
