Tim Creighton for Model Number MEDC200XW3 The timer on my drier does not advance. The heater runs in all modes including no heat modes. In high heat mode the heater gets red hot. I replaced the timer and have the same condition with the new timer. Can you provide a suggestion? Thank You
Answer Tim, For the unit heating in the air fluff cycle, this would more likely be an issue with the temperature switch or a grounded heater. As for the timer not advancing, if this is happening in all cycles then the issue will most likely be either a faulty timer, which has been replaced, It would be recommended to check to make sure that there are no wiring issues causing this issue.
