Diyfixer for Model Number LER4634EQ2 My dryer will stop but the heat elements stay on. In order to stop it from heating up so high when cycle is finished and dryer has stopped from turning is to unplug the power cord. What is causing this?
Answer Hello DIYFIXER, You will want to check your wiring from timer to the heater and look for any wires that may be shorting to ground. Check the timer to see if you are getting constant continuity from BK to R. If you are then the contacts in the timer are bad and causing heater circuit to continuously be open. Read More...
