George for Model Number MTW5740TQ0 The breaker trips as soon as I pull the time knob to on (Same on any cycle). Motor checks out OK. I suspect it is the timer motor shorted out?
Answer Hello George. You will need to check for a dead short on the harness on the unit. If the harness is good, then you will check the parts for damage. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
