Also, can you direct me to a you-tube video I can watch to help me as neither my husband nor I have ever done this before? We have a Jenn-Air refrigerator that is 27 years old that we hope to keep for another few years. Thanks.
Answer Anna, If you pull the unit out and remove the cover at the bottom, the defrost timer should be located on the right side and you would just remove 2 screws to take it out and disconnect the harness and plug into the new one.
