The controls box on the top of the refrigerator section (below the freezer) originates the click-click sound but the compressor keeps running. I can feel the clicks there with my hand. It click-clicks about every 5 seconds continuously or until: a - I whack it a few times b - I turn off the old control for awhile. I've totally defrosted the freezer twice, but the frost is building up again.
