Fidleid for Model Number 106.51262101 This unit was subjected to, I think, a power surge. While the thermostat cycles the fans, the compressor does not start. I checked the compressor for shorts and it seems ok. Is there a likely part to bank on? I was thinking it could be the control board but I believe the n/c position on the relay is the run mode and the tracks etc look ok on the board. So it points to the motor relay package. I there an easy way to apply 110 vac to the compressor leads to see if it will run? Or is there an easy way to confirm that the motor relay/overload are ok?
Answer Fidleid, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty relay on the compressor rather than a control board or thermostat issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, May 9, 2014
