Glenn for Model Number ED2PHEXMT00 Refrigerator and freezer stopped and I found that the Adaptive defrost control had a burned out circuit so I got a new part and the second I plugged it in it blew. What could it be?
Answer Glenn, The board blowing out just as soon as power is supplied will be caused by a dead short and you will need to check the wiring, check the heater, compressor and fans to make sure that the short is not coming from them.
