Andrew for Model Number 106.57022602 The coils in the back of the freezer freeze up every few days. I cleaned out the bottom and back of the fridge and the fans are running in both the bottom and back of the freezer. I have check for continuity on the defroster and it shows zero. I have ordered the defrost thermostat. If that doesn't fix the problem what is next? Also, when I thawed the coils I used a heat gun and got some smoke from the electrical box. Did I fry something?
Answer Hello Andrew. You need to check and see if you melted a wire and shorted out the board 4388932 in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
