Pat, unfortunately, the defrost control 4388932 does not have a manual turn button to enter into a forced defrost mode. However, the thermostat can be turned off for 15 seconds, turned back on for 5 seconds, and this would be repeated two more times. This should force a defrost cycle for 21 minutes or until the defrost bi-metal opens up.
