Hello Chris. You will want to check the connections going and coming from the timer to the heater and defrost tstat. If all wires are intact you should test the defrost tstat, it should read close for continuity when cold. Depending on your serial number will determine which thermostat is appropriate for your unit. For the defrost heater WP61002045 you should get a resistance reading. You will need a multi meter to test these components MA-DM1.
