Jocelyne for Model Number Norge GS24Y8D back panel in freezer ices up. Always have to push 2 doors to ensure closed tightly. Have removed panel covering coils in freezer. De-iced freezer and all good for a month. Could the defrost timer be issue. Thanks you, Jocelyne
Answer Jocelyne, The defrost timer could certainly be an issue but you will want to test the defrost heater for continuity and test the defrost thermostat for continuity while still sitting in the ice. If they test good for continuity then replace the timer. If they do not test good for continuity then replace the part that fails the test. Read More...
