Mike for Model Number NDE2335AYW It started with the timer running through its time cycle, cool down, then off. Then all by it's self immediately starting the next cycle in line. Now, everything else works but the heat. No heat on any cycle, I think the heating element, thermostat, and resistors are o.k. by way of my meter. I don't know how to check the timer. Timer, or something else?
Answer Hi Mike. The timer controls both the on and off of the cycles and the voltage going to the motor for the element . It is part # WP37001240. The heater should ohm out between 8 - 22 ohms with an ohm meter , the element part # WPY503978. You can easily purchase a volt / ohm meter from us. It is part # MA-DM1. On the upper rt. of the element is a thermal fuse which should be closed. If open it is part # WP40113801. ( 0 - ohms ) Thank You. Read More...
