KPB, to test your timer, you'll need to remove power to the washer, set the timer dial to the final spin cycle and pull out the knob. You'll need to use the timer cam chart to determine which contacts are "closed" in the spin cycle (ei : white/black wire to yellow wire in switch14 on cam 8) , you could insert your meter probes in the back of the harness connection, but it's best to unplug the harness connector and check the appropriate brass pins on the timer itself for a "closed" circuit.
