Gary, First, disconnect the wire harness from the timer WP3951702, check the brass contact terminals on the timer to see if any of them are bent twisted or loose. Check the insertion end of the harness/timer connector block for the same. Then check the lid switch 3949247V for proper mounting and operation, also check the lid hinges and bushings for excessive wear or damage. Then check the water level switch and tube W10337780 to make sure there aren't any clogs and that switch resets to the empty position.
