Answer Hello Jon. You will need to check and make sure the lid switch 3949247V is working properly and is not broke. If it is broke, the unit will not run or spin. You can test these with a multi-meter MA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
