Paul for Model Number 110.24642300 Kenmore washer goes though wash cycle ok but always on heavy duty wash speed. If I set at delicate or regular settings it will still wash at high speed which is tearing are towels. Thanks.
Answer Paul, You will want to a voltage test at the motor to see if you are getting 120 vac to the orange wire when the unit is set for permanent press. If there is 120 vac but the unit is still doing high speed agitation then the motor switch is bad. If there is not 120 vac at the orange wire then the timer would be causing the issue. Read More...
