Hello Mike. If the timer WP8541945 runs past the spin cycle and does not stop, you will need to replace the timer. However, if the timer stops, but the unit only drains and does not spin, you will want to check and see if the clutch assembly 285785 is bad and needs to be replaced. Hope this helps.
