John R. for Model Number LLR8233DZ My 18 year old Whirlpool washer "stops" in the "normal" program before entering the rinse cycle. Pushing the timer knob in and advancing it manually for one click and then pulling it back out five times (five clicks in total) causes the washer to enter the rinse cycle on the fifth click and finally finishes the program. When using the "permanent press" program, the washer runs through each cycle without any hesitation. Have I reached the life expectancy of a Whirlpool timer (at 18 years :} ... or is there some other gremlin lurking around? Thanks in advance... John
