Christine, The timer would not be the first palce to start. First, check and make sure the wires at the terminal block, on the back of the dryer are not loose(unplug the power cord first). Check the push to start switch and relay, and the wires at the switch. Then check the timer circuit T(tan) to W(white) for closed in any cycle, and the wires for loose or damage.
