John for Model Number LSB6500PW2 Our washer has an intermittent problem. When we try to start the washer by setting the main control knob, nothing happens after we pull out the knob. If we let it sit for a minute or so, without touching it, the washer starts and runs normally. It does not seem to matter what cycle we select. It does tend to occur after the washer has been off for a period of time. Would replacing the timer control be the most likely cause of this problem?
Answer Hello John, This sounds like a poor electrical connection. I would unplug and re-connect everything in the control panel one at a time and retry.
