Steve S for Model Number Whirlpool LSN2000PW4 Having issue with not being able to fill tub with water (for either wash or rinse cycles). Both the Hot/Cold water are operational, but water drains during fill process and never reaches set level. I've replaced the timer thinking there was an issue with switch contacts, assuming it was controlling a drain valve, but looks like I was wrong. From what I see - water going in directly drains out. Can you help? What controls water drain function? Thanks!!
Answer Hello Steve. It sounds like the drain hose is to far inside the drain pipe or the there is no air gap for the drain hose. There should only be about 6 to 8" of drain hose into the drain pipe. Also, the drain hose should not be tight into the drain pipe. Both of these can cause the unit to siphone out the water in the unit. Read More...
