Beth for Model Number Kenmore 400 top-loading washer machine (2942) The washer will stop during the cycle, usually right before or at the rinse point and just shut off. I can press in the timer knob and rotate the knob around to restart the cycle from after the "rinse" point. When I do this, the water starts to fill the empty tub again and continues normally without any stopping. Is this a timer issue?
Answer Hello Beth. Based on the information you provided, it does sounds like the timer WPW10199989 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, September 8, 2011
