Dindoo N. for Model Number Admiral ATW4475VQ0 washing machine Is the Admiral ATW4475VQ0 "Two Speed Combinations" washer supposed to have two agitator speeds, one fast and one slow? The agitator runs as fast on "Gentle" as it does on "Normal", which defeats the purpose of "Gentle" when washing delicate clothes, even with the pauses on "Gentle". I watched the video for the AP6016888 Control Timer and that motor connector had only 2 wires, not 3, suggesting that the motor/agitator is single speed. I haven't opened up my control panel yet. If the agitator is supposed to move slower in "Gentle" but doesn't, which part is likely to have failed? Thank you
Answer Hello Dindoo, This model does have a single-speed motor. The manufacturer considers the pauses they installed in the timer between agitations to be the delicate cycle. Even though the wash is the same, it does it less so they consider it "delicate". Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, December 3, 2021
