Rip for Model Number rtw4440vq1 Washer starts and runs fine, until it gets halfway through the rinse cycle. As soon as it starts to drain the tub, the agitator acts like it wants to turn but then stops. If I open the lid and shut it again it will take off like it's supposed to. Tried by-passing the lid switch but that didn't work. Replaced the timer and it still does it. Any ideas what I should try next? Thank you.
Answer Hello Rip. If the timer is new, you will need to check and make sure the clutch assembly 285785 is good on the unit. If not, it will cause the unit to act like this.
