Curt for Model Number LTE5243DQ6 This combo unit has a burnt timer apparently from a really bad power surge, owner wants to try and replace timer I am wondering since the timer seems to be the only thing affected, is it a possibility that motor could have been affected, and probably the only way to find out is to put another timer in place to check it out. Is there another way to check motor? Thanks for your time and help.
Answer Curt, The only way to really test the motor would be to check the windings on the motor. Keep in mind that just because the windings may check ok then motor could still be bad. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, March 11, 2015
