Rambo for Model Number RAS8445JQO Our washer will fiil, agitate, then stops and will not drain and spin. We have done the continuity check with the multi meter, and it checks out okay. How do I check to determine if it might be the timer switch??
Answer Rambo, Are you sure you checked the lid switch circuits and wiring back to the timer, and the plastic actuator on the washer lid WP358684 and made sure the lid switch assembly 3949247V is properly mounted and secured to the top of the washer ? If so, then you'll need to unplug the power cord, set the timer to the final spin / drain and pull out the knob. and check for the appropriate "closed" contacts (filled in black area of timer cycle chart). ie: You'd need to check for a "closed" Circuit between the gray and black wires from the lid switch at the timer block terminal.
