Charles D Hastings , MN November 04, 2014 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL LSR5233AWO CLOTHES WASHER Our machine was stopping during the different cycles i thought it was the timer switch but after reading the online feedback on your site i realized it was probably the lid switch assembly I ordered the lid switch assembly and lid strike,I watched the repair video several times(put it in my "favorites" on my computer so i could re-watch it if need be),wrote down the steps to the repair and waited for my parts to arrive. The parts arrived promptly, the 1 year return policy is awesome!! I procrastinated for a week but, finally did the repair yesterday afternoon. My repair went EXACTLY as the video showed!! I had a little trouble getting the cover off but, the parts were an exact replacement as the originals.I put the machine back together and so far it is working like the day we bought it 15 years ago! I will use Appliance Parts Pro for all my future needs! Read More... 19 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers, Socket Set

The only difference in the video was that my washer didn't have the clips holding the wiring harness in place. I used plastic wire ties instead.
