Randall for Model Number DU850SWKQ0 Wash, drain, and rinse cycles work proper. Will not dry dishes. I performed an ohm check on the heating element with it disconnected and checked out fine. There were no cracks, burns, or bulging on the element. I bypassed the thermal fuse and checked voltage at the element in the dry cycle and had none. I'm suspecting timer or open to other suggestions.
Answer Hello Randall. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the timer WP8535368 is the issue with the heating. Make sure none of the wires and connections are bad on the unit. If not, and there is no voltage to the heater, replace the timer. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
