Leah, once you have the washer timer released and lowered out of the dryer cabinet on the sides of the timer assembly, there will be two small "tabs"(one on each side of the timer), press In on the two tabs and pull the timer wiring block out or away from the timer. Install the wiring block onto the new timer and push in on the block until the black tabs engage the timer housing and "pop" and lock in place. Thanks,
