Leah R. for Model Number LSE7806ACE I am replacing the timer module. How do you release the old timer module plug so you can plug in the new one? 2 black clips, do you pull up on them to release?, don't want to break it at this point.
Answer Leah, once you have the washer timer released and lowered out of the dryer cabinet on the sides of the timer assembly, there will be two small "tabs"(one on each side of the timer), press In on the two tabs and pull the timer wiring block out or away from the timer. Install the wiring block onto the new timer and push in on the block until the black tabs engage the timer housing and "pop" and lock in place. Thanks, Read More...
