Martin for Model Number LSE7806ACE Hello, I'm having some issues with my Maytag LSE7806ACE washing machine. None of the cycles are working on the washer unless the dryer is turned on.I also don't see the timer moving like it has no power. And at this point the only thing it will do is fill up with water. It wont agitate, spin, or drain, But the pressure switch does turn the water off. I have checked the fuse going to the water level switch, And the water shuts off when you open the lid. So i am assuming the lid switch is OK. I was unable to test further due to my multimeter being at work. I'm hoping for some suggestions before i move forward, anything would b appreciated. Thanks
Answer Hello Martin. You need to test the lid switch assembly 12001514 and see if the switch is bad. If so, it will prevent the unit from spinning and washing properly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
