John H. for Model Number A412 My Maytag Model A412 is making a humming sound from the control panel. This just started last week and the washer is working fine. My question is this a symptom of something in the timer going bad?
Answer John, If the noise is there from the time you pull out the timer knob, until it shuts off, it very well, could be the timer WP206686.
